Prego: Week 7

I am 7 weeks pregnant with my husband and I's first child! Woo hoo!!!! Let me tell you this whole morning sickness thing is getting old...really fast! I can't eat meat or most foods really. I have been living off of sandwiches and crackers for the past two weeks. I know it will get better or at least that is what I hear. Although, no one really knows because NEWS FLASH, each pregnancy is different! 

I eat very healthy and I exercise. I found out that once a woman has a child they somehow become an expert on things I should and should not do. Especially in regards to food and exercise - like I have no idea what I am doing. I bet they couldn't event do a front squat properly! Regardless, I have received more information from people and they have no idea what they are talking about. I was out to dinner with friends one night and I had a stead and side salad. They gave me some heck about it because apparently I "needed to eat more". I was just fine with what I had! They had burgers, fries and chicken quasidia. Just because I am pregnant does not mean that I will drive through fast food and eat crappy food at all times. WOMEN.....you can be healthy AND still workout during pregnancy! That's ok!!!!!!!!  Yes, I have had to change my diet some to include breads since I have been sick and yes I will have to alter my crossfit workout once my stomach starts getting larger.....BUT pregnancy is not going to stop me from being healthy and fit. It shouldn't stop you either!
