Week 20
Today marks week 20!!!! Halfway through the pregnancy! So excited. I did have to stop wearing normal jeans with a prego band and switch to maternity pants. Thankfully a friend gave me some clothes to wear and she included prego jeans. Woo hoo!
I don't have really any cravings...I just like sweet things more then I used to. I am now able to eat more veggies and meat. I still cannot eat meat that my husband cooks INSIDE the house vs the grill outside. I am still working out and enjoying crossfit! I did the workout Helen last night in 12 minutes and 15 seconds - 400 meter run, 21 35 pound kettle bell swings and 12 pull ups for 3 rounds. I still got it!
Life is good. I am starting to show. I have gained 11 pounds so far and baby Zoey is doing well! She is long and has a larger head, but her mom is 6'1 and her dad is 6'5! So she will be longer then the average baby! That's right....I am HAVING A GIRL! Woo hoo!!!!!

Week 15 and better!
My husband is the best and I'm so thankful he's in my life! Other then that, no crazy cravings. I've gained about 8 pounds and like sweet foods more....other then that nothing nutty.
One a side note, at the gym yesterday we found our 20 rep squat max. So fun. See the picture. Then we had a good workout after. My legs are sooooo sore. I love going to our gym and enjoy being pregnant doing it!!!

Cravings....
So I have had some cravings. It's very hard to turn down sweets or cookies. Before being pregnant, it wasn't that hard. Now it is!!!!
One craving I have had is....*drum roll*....SANGRIA!!!! What pregnant lady craves an alcoholic beverage?? ME ME!!!! It's so bad, I'm going to make non alcoholic sangria this weekend. Wish me luck!
Week 12!
Yay! Today I am 12 weeks along in my pregnancy! One more week and I'll be done with the first trimester. Hopefully I can eat normal food and get some energy back.
Discoveries:
- can only eat Publix subs
- quadadias are ok to eat
- still eating crackers
- can now eat fruit
- went maternity clothes shopping
- gained a few pounds
- can see a little bulge of a baby bump
Being pregnant will not stop me from being fit. Meh husband and I joined a crossfit gym last week and loved it. We both want to go to the next level in our fitness and we found the perfect gym for that. I love the trainers and there is another gal who is pregnant that works out there. She is an inspiration!
I'm excited about the journey, but can't wait to get some energy back.
